This card would be beneficial in a black sacrifice-themed deck that focuses on generating value from sacrificing creatures. It provides a way to grow and potentially create a powerful token upon its death. However, there are stronger options available in the Magic: the Gathering card pool for similar strategies, such as Yahenni, Undying Partisan or Cauldron Familiar, which offer more immediate impact or recurring value.
