Strength of the Tajuru would be a valuable addition to a green-based creature deck looking to go wide with multiple creatures on the battlefield. It can provide a significant boost to multiple creatures at once, especially when kicked multiple times. However, in a competitive setting, cards like Collected Company or Chord of Calling might offer more versatile and immediate value in similar decks, making them potentially better choices. Overall, Strength of the Tajuru could see play in specific creature-heavy strategies, but its effectiveness may vary depending on the overall deck composition and game plan.

The number of targets you choose for Strength of the Tajuru is one more than the number of times it’s kicked. First you declare how many times you’re going to kick the spell (at the same time you declare the value of X), then you choose the targets accordingly, then you pay the costs. No player can respond between the time you declare how many times you’ll kick the spell and the time you choose the targets.
