**Erode** is a one‑mana white removal spell that fits best in aggressive white decks (Mono‑White Aggro, Boros Convoke, White Weenie, or low‑curve Humans) that want extremely efficient interaction to clear blockers or remove early planeswalkers while pressuring the opponent’s life total; those decks care less about ramping the opponent because the game is meant to end quickly. It could also see play in tempo shells that value cheap interaction over card parity.
