This card would be beneficial in a white weenie or lifegain deck in Magic: The Gathering, providing a consistent source of life gain for your creatures. However, there are potentially better options available such as Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant which provide immediate life gain upon creature entry rather than requiring tapping, making them more efficient choices for the deck. Resplendent Mentor could see play in a casual or thematic deck, but in a competitive setting, other cards may be more optimal for achieving a similar effect.
