Shatter the Source could be beneficial in a red aggro deck that utilizes creatures to help cast spells efficiently. While the flexibility of being able to deal damage to a creature, planeswalker, or battle and destroy an artifact is useful, there may be better options available such as Lightning Bolt or Smash to Smithereens which are more cost-effective and versatile in most situations. Shatter the Source may not see much play in competitive decks due to its higher cost and limited impact compared to other available options.
