A deck focused on controlling the board and maintaining a strong creature presence, such as a white weenie or white aggro deck, would benefit from including Diversionary Tactics. While it can provide a temporary solution to deal with threats, there are potentially better options available, such as removal spells like Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which offer more permanent solutions. However, in certain metagames or strategies where tapping down a key creature can swing the game in your favor, Diversionary Tactics could see play as a situational utility card.
