A deck that focuses on dealing damage to its own creatures or has ways to consistently trigger Ripjaw Raptor's Enrage ability would benefit from using this card, particularly in a green-based midrange or ramp deck. While Ripjaw Raptor is a solid card for card draw in a creature-heavy strategy, there are potentially better options such as Carnage Tyrant for a similar mana cost, offering hexproof and trample. However, Ripjaw Raptor can still be a strong inclusion in the right deck and should see play in decks looking for card advantage through creature combat.

If multiple sources deal damage to a creature with an enrage ability at the same time, most likely because multiple creatures blocked that creature, the enrage ability triggers only once.
