Sungrass Egg, Artifact, designed by David Martin first released in Oct, 2001 in the set Odyssey. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 55.87.
This Sungrass Egg card would benefit a Selesnya (Green-White) deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and drawing cards for card advantage. While it provides a mana fix and card draw, there are better options like Sakura-Tribe Elder or Farseek for ramp, and cards like Harmonize for card draw, making Sungrass Egg less optimal for competitive play but could still be fun in a casual deck looking for a unique strategy.

This is a mana ability, which means it can be activated as part of the process of casting a spell or activating another ability. If that happens you get the mana right away, but you don’t get to look at the drawn card until you have finished casting that spell or activating that ability.
