Quickening Licid, Creature — licid, designed by Andrew Robinson first released in Oct, 1997 in the set Tempest. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.62.
This card, Quickening Licid, would benefit a white aggressive deck that focuses on combat strategies, particularly those that value first strike. While it offers versatility in being able to switch between a creature and an enchantment, there are more efficient cards like Ethereal Armor or Cartouche of Solidarity that provide similar effects more reliably. Quickening Licid may not see much play in competitive decks due to its mana cost and the availability of stronger alternatives.

Paying the cost to end the effect is a special action and can’t be responded to.
