About Repel the Darkness

Repel the Darkness, Instant, designed by Scott Chou first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.10.

A deck focused on controlling the board and drawing cards, such as a white-blue control deck, would benefit from using Repel the Darkness. However, there are better options available, such as Unsummon, which can target any creature and return it to its owner's hand for a lower cost and at instant speed. Repel the Darkness may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its limited effectiveness compared to other similar cards.
