A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and can afford to pay life for mana would benefit from including Moltensteel Dragon. It could fit well in a red-based aggro or burn deck looking to close out games quickly with its ability to pump itself and its flying ability. However, in more competitive settings, there are likely better options available such as Thundermaw Hellkite or Glorybringer, which provide similar effects with additional benefits, making Moltensteel Dragon less likely to see play in top-tier decks.
