This card could be beneficial in a green stompy deck that focuses on aggressive creatures with high power and toughness. The ability to regenerate Carnassid for just {1}{G} can provide resilience against removal spells and allow it to stay on the battlefield longer, especially with its trample ability. However, there are potentially better options available, such as Thragtusk, which not only has a similar mana cost but also provides additional value with its enters-the-battlefield trigger of gaining 5 life.
