This card, Tightening Coils, would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to weaken and neutralize powerful flying creatures. However, there are better options like Claustrophobia or Waterknot that offer similar effects with additional benefits, making Tightening Coils less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
