Renegade Game Studios has announced the return of Dungeons & Dragons: Castle Ravenloft Board Game in partnership with Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro. The cooperative dungeon-crawling game will return in two editions, set for release in February 2027.

The standard edition will feature updated visuals and carry an MSRP of US$ 100. The premium edition will cost US$ 200 and include pre-painted miniatures. The difference puts component presentation at the forefront of the new release without changing its cooperative adventure premise in Castle Ravenloft.

Originally released in 2010, Castle Ravenloft casts players as adventurers navigating the castle's corridors in search of a confrontation with Lord Strahd. The adventure unfolds cooperatively as players work their way through the fortress to face the villain.

Scott Gaeta, president of Renegade Game Studios, said Castle Ravenloft helped define cooperative fantasy board games for a generation of players. He said the team plans to bring the classic back to tables and offer a premium edition with pre-painted miniatures, making the experience more immersive from the moment players open the box.

The announcement revives a line of Dungeons & Dragons games that gained a following among the cooperative dungeon-crawling titles released over the past decade. The new edition retains its focus on the castle and Strahd while updating the standard edition's visuals and adding pre-painted components to the premium version.

Dungeons & Dragons: Castle Ravenloft Board Game will arrive in stores in February 2027, with the standard edition priced at US$ 100 and the premium edition at US$ 200.
