Mindclash Games will release Courtroom 1936: The Noir Trilogy at retail in October 2026. The new deduction game puts two teams on opposite sides of the same case: one takes on the role of the Prosecution, while the other serves as the Defense.

The teams investigate the case from different perspectives and build their arguments using both shared and secret information. The proceedings move on to the testimony phase, when each side presents its witnesses and chooses its evidence.

After that stage, players arrange the evidence to support their claims. The trial concludes with closing arguments, while the teams earn points throughout the game. The team with the highest score wins.

Courtroom 1936: The Noir Trilogy supports two to six players, is recommended for ages 14 and up, and features 90-minute playtimes. Its suggested retail price will be US$ 35.

The game combines investigation, deduction and direct confrontation between the teams, which must work with information shared by both sides as well as details kept secret. Its structure also clearly separates each side’s role: the prosecution and defense follow their own paths before presenting their conclusions.

The announcement places Courtroom 1936: The Noir Trilogy among Mindclash Games’ upcoming retail releases. The publisher also announced Emberheart, a worker-placement game about rescuing dragons from poachers, scheduled for October, but the new title is not part of the noir trilogy. Courtroom 1936: The Noir Trilogy will arrive in stores in October 2026.
