Hachette Boardgames will release Maybe. Not. Perfect! at retail on October 23, 2026. The party game, published by Edition Spielwiese, was designed by Friedemann Friese. In the game, one player is presented with three suggestion cards, each featuring a profession. They must come up with a single-word clue that relates to all three jobs to varying degrees: one should fit a little, another should have no connection at all, and the third needs to be a perfect match. After revealing the cards and giving the clue, the team tries to identify the correct distribution across the game’s three categories: “maybe,” “not,” and “perfect.” The challenge lies in finding a word that is just ambiguous enough.Maybe. Not. Perfect! supports two to six players and is recommended for ages 8 and up. Each session is expected to last between 15 and 20 minutes. The format focuses on quick rounds and different interpretations of the same clue, as teams try to distinguish the most obvious association from a partial connection and the profession that should not make sense. The retail release is scheduled for October 23, 2026.
