About Negate
Negate, Instant, designed by Ralph Horsley first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 35 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Pauper. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 1.62.
A control deck would benefit from using Negate in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a cheap and efficient way to counter noncreature spells. While Negate is a solid option for countering key spells, there are better alternatives such as Mana Leak or Force of Will that offer more versatility or additional benefits. Negate should see play in decks looking to efficiently disrupt their opponent's game plan with targeted spell denial.
