Nether Spirit, Creature — spirit, designed by Alan Pollack first released in Oct, 1999 in the set Mercadian Masques and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 8.45.
A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and control would benefit from using Nether Spirit, as it provides a consistent way to bring back a threat each turn if properly set up. However, there are potentially better cards for this purpose, such as Bloodghast or Gravecrawler, which offer more immediate value and easier conditions for returning to the battlefield. Whether Nether Spirit should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, as well as the overall metagame.

If Nether Spirit isn’t the only creature card in your graveyard as your upkeep begins, its ability won’t trigger. You can’t take any actions during your turn before your upkeep begins.
