Confessor is a valuable addition to a discard-focused deck in Magic: the Gathering, especially in a white-based control or lifegain strategy. While it can provide incremental life gain, there are more powerful cards like \[\[Leyline of the Void\]\] or \[\[Waste Not\]\] that offer greater benefits from opponent discard. Confessor could see play in a casual or budget deck, but in competitive environments, it may not be the most optimal choice.
