A Mardu aggro deck would benefit from using Mardu Hordechief due to its ability to create additional creature tokens when attacking, synergizing well with an aggressive playstyle. While there may be more powerful cards available, such as Goblin Rabblemaster or Hero of Bladehold, Mardu Hordechief could still see play in a budget or tribal-themed deck where the token generation is valuable.

Raid abilities care only that you attacked with a creature. It doesn’t matter how many creatures you attacked with, or which opponent or planeswalker controlled by an opponent those creatures attacked.
