Chained to the Rocks è un potente incantesimo di rimozione in un mazzo bianco aggro o midrange che si concentra sul controllo del tabellone. Può fornire un significativo vantaggio di tempo esiliando una minaccia per un solo mana bianco. Sebbene sia una carta forte, ci sono altri incantesimi di rimozione come Path to Exile o Swords to Plowshares che sono più versatili e non richiedono l'incantamento di una terra specifica. Incatenato alle Rocce può essere una buona inclusione nei mazzi che possono proteggere in modo affidabile la propria montagna incantata e beneficiare dell'effetto di esilio, ma potrebbe non essere sempre l'opzione migliore a seconda della strategia specifica del mazzo e del metagioco.
