About Glacial Ray

Glacial Ray, Instant — arcane, designed by Jim Murray first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.33.

A deck that focuses on casting a lot of Arcane spells would benefit from including Glacial Ray, especially if it can take advantage of the Splice ability to add extra damage to its spells. However, there are potentially better options like Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning that offer more immediate and efficient damage for the same cost, so Glacial Ray may not see as much play in competitive decks but could still be a fun and flavorful choice for casual Arcane-themed decks.

Rules
